Initially trained by the late-great Skandar Akbar, Athena made her 2007 professional wrestling debut in Arlington, Texas. Since taking those first steps in the ring, the Wrestling Goddess has been a high-flying star on the rise.
"It's something that I always wanted to do," she said. "I actually dropped out of college to pursue this. And I love it."
That love for professional wrestling is demonstrated through her in-ring exploits that amaze and astound opponents and spectators alike. Her athletic demonstrations generate a lot of praise that is not entirely lost on Athena.
"I can be kinda spoiled at times," she said. "But for the most part I think I'm better than everyone else. I'm the best thing that has happened to every promotion I've been to! I love it when the fans go crazy for me."
Whether she is displaying arrogance or simply exuding confidence is debatable. But one thing that is undeniable is her in-ring ability. Athena is one of the most regarded high flyers to ever grace the Magnificent Ladies Wrestling ring.
Likewise, many fans agree that the use of the moniker "goddess" is not overstated when describing Athena. She is a beautiful young woman with an amazing body.
"Let's just call it what it is," Athena said with a sly smile. "I'm sexy. You know it. And I know you know it."
Athena has used the combination of her love for the sport, talent, and confidence to reach championship heights in Texas and ascend the pro-wrestling ranks throughout the United States. But she does not plan to stop there.
"I definitely plan to win the Magnificent Ladies Wrestling Championship," she said. "I want to wrestle everyone who comes through Magnificent Ladies Wrestling and experience all the new competition while defending that title. After that, I'm going to get my passport and take the championship and defend it over seas."
Athena may very well take her career and Magnificent Ladies Wrestling with it to new, epic heights.
