Black Widow

Black Widow

Spinning a web of woe for her opponents.

Height: 5-foot-5
Weight: 140 pounds
Hometown: West Tennessee

Black widow spiders are known for their cruelty and their ability to cripple and immobilize their prey by injecting them with venom.

The Black Widow who enters the Magnificent Ladies Wrestling wrestling ring is every bit as cruel as the spider that serves as her namesake. And the green-eyed, flame-haired beauty has the training, the skills and the love of combat to batter, humiliate and destroy her opponents without using poison.

"I feel no pity for anyone who enters the ring with me," sneers the Black Widow. "When another woman signs her name on the dotted line of a contract, she becomes my enemy and I must destroy her. I don't mean pin her. I mean destroy her. Most of my opponents have to be helped back to the dressing room when I'm done with them. I'm proud of that."

Little is known about the background of the Black Widow. She remains secretive about much of her past life before entering the squared circle, but some facts have come to light.

Black Widow trained under Kilo, Devon Day, P.K. Ripper and Wildside. She quickly established herself as a deceptively strong, technically skilled wrestler with a mastery of holds and counterholds.

Her sadistic streak was apparent from the start. She ignored the rules and treated referees as a distraction while gleefully torturing her foes with holds and maneuvers both legal and illegal. The boos and catcalls of angry wrestling fans were music to her ears and only drove her to higher levels of violence and viciousness.

"I'm as tough as they come," she brags. "There are no duplicates. There are no imitations of me. There are only wannabes."

Word of the new women's wrestling sensation spread quickly among promoters and fans, leading to more bookings in a larger number of promotions.

Black Widow has worked for the Genesis, Tennessee Independent Wrestling Federation (TIWF) and New Breed Championship Wrestling (NBCW), where she has been embroiled in feuds with popular stars including Auburn Thunder and the Million-Dollar Baby. Black Widow was the TIWF rookie of the year in 2009 and held the women's championship belt against all comers for 198 straight days in 2010.

As violent as she is in the squared circle, Black Widow has a surprisingly gentle hobby. "I'm a great artist," she declares. "I love to draw."

Unsurprisingly, Black Widow dreams of wearing the coveted Magnificent Ladies Wrestling championship belt around her waist.

"I'm not here to make friends or please the fans or be Miss Congeniality," she says. "I'm here for the gold. I will destroy anyone who stands between me and that belt. That's fair warning to any and all who want to cross my path. You will regret it. I guarantee it."
