Some wrestlers look at the sport as a place to demonstrate their mastery of technical holds and maneuvers. Others view the squared circle as a venue for brawling and mauling their opponents. And then there's Christi Whiplash.

"The art of professional wrestling itself is utterly flawless in my eyes," Whiplash says. "When practiced by a top performer such as myself, wrestling achieves a beauty of movement and strength and rhythm. It is as beautiful as any oil painting and just as inspiring as a beautiful sculpture."

If that sounds conceited, Whiplash doesn't care. She takes great pride in her pursuit of excellence and doesn't care if it rubs opponents or fans the wrong way. She's been that way since he first climbed into the ring in 2007, where she faced male wrestler "Superstar" Aaron Lee in a singles match for Mad Asylum Xtreme Wrestling in Williamston, S.C. She won that match and never looked back.

"I am a strong, technical wrestler and I execute moves that ensure my opponent is lying on the mat with nothing left," she states. "Regardless of whether I am a face or a heel, I go into that ring ready to hurt someone. But you will rarely see me slapping anyone or pulling someone's hair. To me, that is the easy way out of things."

Perhaps one reason the striking beauty avoids pulling hair is because hers is so long. . .a full three-feet of luxurious tresses that spill down her muscular back.

Trained by Shadow Jackson, Whiplash has a large number of moves and holds at her disposal ranging from her teeth-loosening European uppercuts to her skull-crushing spinning heel kick. Many of her signature moves involve extremely high impact contact with her foes, which weakens them for her finishing maneuver. The "Lament Configuration" is a spinning fisherman suplex followed by a bridging pin that usually earns the victory.

A horror film fanatic –she collects back issues of "Fangoria" magazines and declares the "Hellraiser" horror films the best ever made—she also is a skilled drummer who enjoys heavy metal, black metal and glam-rock music.

At Magnificent Ladies Wrestling, Whiplash will find plenty of competition ranging from hungry newcomers to well-traveled veterans. She relishes the opportunity to mix it up in the ring with a wide variety of opponents.

"I can't wait to show my talents in Magnificent Ladies Wrestling," she says while running her fingers through her long hair. "But don't let my appearance fool you because I am not a diva. I am a wrestler."
