Jennifer Justice

Plain-spoken tough girl wants a title

Height: 5-foot-4
Weight: 130 pounds
Hometown: Gibson, Tennessee

There's nothing fancy about Jennifer Justice. She favors a plain black one-piece suit and matching black boots. She wears her hair short. She doesn't care much about interacting with the fans. Actually, she doesn't talk much to anyone, keeping to herself in the dressing room.

Yet the young Tennessean is gaining a following of fans tired of wrestlers who are more flash than substance. They're drawn to her blue-collar work ethic and no b.s. style inside the squared circle. The fact that Justice also is racking up an impressive number of wins over better known competitors is another reason she's attracting attention.

"I get what I want," Justice says. "I do whatever it takes. I'll let the pretty girls with their fancy suits and flashy ring music and long, shiny hair be the glamorous ones. I'd rather be the champ."

Plain talk, yes, but also bold talk in the Magnificent Ladies Wrestling, where the roster is ruled by champion Veronica Fairchild and filled with battle-hardened veterans hungry for a shot at the title.

None of this intimidates Justice, who trained for two years with the likes of Killer, Knockout Kid, Psycho, James Arnez, Paul Justice and Kade. These tough, powerful men taught her the old-school approach to professional wrestling, which is why some of the top weapons in her bag of tricks include well-known maneuvers such as the sunset flip, the camel clutch and the monkey flip. Her finisher is dubbed "the Justice cutter," where she runs up the corner turnbuckle, spins and face plants her unfortunate opponent into the canvas.

"Some of these girls, some of these wannabe divas, are nothing but cream puffs," she says. "If you mess up their hair or smudge their makeup, they just lose it. And they aren't well-conditioned enough to hang with me though a long, tough, intense match. My goal is to wear them down, take away their confidence, and exhaust them physically. When I do that, they're ripe for the kill."

Like other competitors in the Magnificent Ladies Wrestling, Justice is targeting Fairchild, the bodacious blond vixen who wears the championship belt. Justice's eyes burn with anger and ambition just talking about Fairchild, who she sees as the "poster girl" for everything she hates in professional wrestling.

"I can't wait to get a title shot with Fairchild," Justice says. "The long blond hair, the perfect makeup, the fancy suits, her diva attitude... it all makes me sick. I dream about the day I beat her brains out and leave her lying in the middle of the ring, her shoulders flat on the mat and my arm raised in victory. We'll see how glamorous she is when she's out cold and I'm wearing the belt."
